My Favorite MSU Shirt… and I’ve Owned About 400
Nudge has basically ruined every other MSU apparel brand for me — in the best way. I grabbed this “State” tee in both green and gray, and they immediately became my “I’m leaving the house, might see people” shirts. They’re soft, they fit right, and they don’t shrink into a crop top after one wash… unlike half the stuff I bought in East Lansing back in the day.
The quality is next-level. It feels like someone at Nudge actually cared about making a shirt instead of just slapping a logo on cheap fabric and calling it a day. The fit? Perfect. The comfort? Dangerous. I’d wear it every day if society allowed it.
As a lifelong Spartan, I’ve bought MSU gear from pretty much everywhere — bookstore, Target, the random dude selling shirts out of a folding table on Grand River — and Nudge blows all of them away. This has become my go-to spot for anything green and white.
If you want gear that feels legit, looks clean, and won’t embarrass you walking through East Lansing on game day, go Nudge. They get it.
Found My New Go-To Spartan Hoodie
I’m an MSU alum who’s been burned by way too many “MSU hoodies” that fit like sandpaper and shrink into toddler sizes. This one from Nudge Printing? Totally different. The XXL actually fits like a real XXL — not a punishment for liking ice cream. The material has legit stretch, moves well, and somehow manages to feel soft and athletic at the same time.
The Gruff Sparty patch is clean, sharp, and doesn’t feel cheap or ironed-on like half the licensed stuff floating around. You can tell this was made by people who care about both the school and the product.
Bottom line: I bought it, I wear it constantly, and I’d buy another without hesitation. Perfect for alumni, students, or any other Spartan who’s tired of settling for generic gear.

Just made my first purchase with Nudge. I'm very happy with the quality of quarter zip I purchased and when I had to return the MSU Hockey sweater because I chose the wrong size; they made the return painless and the turn around quick.

This hat is great - good quality/color. Don’t see many hats with this design. In fact I never have before this purchase.

Quality stuff still exists at Nudge
I love Nudges stuff, this crew neck is no exception. Fit is good and consistent in arms, chest and shoulders. Two things make Nudge stand out-first the sweatshirts are SO soft. Second their stuff doesn’t smell weird when it comes out of the bag. Like, no weird stinky chemical smell that makes you immediately throw it in the wash. Go green!
